Job Overview

A day in the life of a Strategic Relationships Manager

In a nutshell, you will be responsible for supporting development of global account strategies and cultivation of senior relationships for key global and EU accounts.

The team seeks to hire a resourceful, autonomous and organised Strategic Relationships Manager to drive CEO outreach by preparing personalized correspondence and commentary for global and EU-based strategic clients.

The role will be placed in the General Management Team and will report to the Director, Strategic Relationships.

The primary responsibility of the role will be to scale Top-to-top relationships in Europe by supporting the Europe General Manager and overseeing all strategic outreach for the EU region.

The Strategic Relationships Manager will work closely with the Director, Strategic Relationships to build and maintain resources to ensure internal visibility of senior level client engagement, as well as drive knowledge/resource sharing across teams.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will also include:

  • Support senior outreach and client meetings
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and strategic objectives briefings for the CEO, Europe General Manager, and other senior leaders
  • Ensure regular, cadenced outreach for senior leadership at TerraCycle & Loop
  • Document client contact and feedback in order to propel future conversations forward
  • Lead special projects to leverage senior relationships within new company verticals and/or strategic geographies
  • Coordinate account strategy
  • Use Hubspot to set up and maintain senior contacts
  • Manage the process to provide executive team awareness of ongoing conversations and coordinated outreach strategy across LOB’s
  • Provide insight and recommendations by account on progress of conversations or proposals
  • Liaise with internal business development and account management teams
  • Disseminate strategies and activities globally, across all businesses (TerraCycle & Loop)
  • Remain aware of ongoing projects and research in order to identify opportunities for leveraging senior level relationships to drive revenue goals
  • Drive efficiencies and process improvement, e.g., through Hubspot, regular internal team meetings, etc.
  • Support team resource development and performance tracking
  • Support continuous process improvements and creation of PowerPoint tools, including case studies, templates, and trainings
  • Use Hubspot to track team and individual KPI and performance metrics

You must have:

- 2 - 4 years work experience
- Experience working in sales or account management
- Strong writing skills in English
- English fluency
- Strong attention to detail and experience using PowerPoint
- Ability to synthesize information into clear business insights and strategic recommendations
