Job Overview –

We are looking for a polished, highly organized, team-focused Operations Business Analyst to support our three lines of business in executing TerraCycle’s international recycling programs. Primary responsibilities include managing our pricing process to support the sales team in developing new business. Additional responsibilities include supporting in cost analysis, internal and external budget projections, developing financial reporting and supporting month-end close process This position focuses on supporting our sales and account management team in acquiring new business and maintaining relationships with existing customers.

The successful applicant should be experienced and successful in AP/AR related functions and working with internal departments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in combining sustainability, business operations, finance and accounting in a career by learning the mechanics of TerraCycle’s unique global recycling supply chain models. In addition, this role offers international experience including direct support of TerraCycle teams across the Americas and Asia Pacific.

Primary Responsibilities –

  • Coordinate with business development team to develop pricing for client facing proposals for three core lines of business
  • Analyze business performance by running cost analysis to ensure profit goals are met
  • Manage revenue forecasts and prepare internal budget projections
  • Work with account managers to develop budgets for strategic customers
  • Review and manage TerraCycle’s sales data and customer performance information
  • Support financial month end close process by running customer sales and financial reports
  • Develop an intimate working knowledge of TerraCycle’s recycling supply chains including vendor competencies, costs and overall efficiency
  • Prepare briefs, presentations and analyses of product performance, and make recommendations for continuing improvements.
  • Outline and manage implementation of new products, financial processes and operational initiatives

Requirements/Skills –

  • BA/BS in finance, economics or business preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Track record of success in business support or financial analysis.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ability to prepare clear and concise client-ready documents.
  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrate empathy and commitment to the business team with ability to manage expectations.
  • High-energy team player.
  • Must possess a balance of creative and analytical skills.

Compensation

  • Salary depending on experience
  • 25 Paid Holiday Days
  • Company Pension contribution up to 3% of salary
  • Start date – ASAP
  • Reports to – Global Operations Controller with a dotted line to the European Operations Controller at TerraCycle.
