Loop is a zero-waste shopping platform featuring everyday products from our favourite brands, in fully renewable packaging. A first of its kind solution to tackle single-use packaging. From disposable to reusable.

Loop was launched in May 2019 by TerraCycle, which has been eliminating the Idea of Waste® since 2001 by recycling the non-recyclable and reducing disposability at its source. Working with many of the world's largest consumer brands (including P&G, Nestlé, Unilever, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Mondēlez,...) and some of the world’s largest retailers (Tesco, Carrefour, Walgreens,...), it is a groundbreaking step towards the end of single-use disposable materials and the beginning of a circular economy for the consumer goods industry. Loop was launched in both France and the US last May, with plans to expand into several new markets including Canada, Japan, the UK and Germany in 2020.

Job Overview –

The Loop EU Account Management team is looking for an outgoing, highly organized, hardworking, agile, team-focused Brand Account Manager to work with our corporate brand partners (clients) on bringing them on board Loop, TerraCycle’s newest line of business focused on selling consumer goods in durable, reusable packaging.

The Brand Account Manager will be reporting into the Loop Brand Partnerships lead and the role is based in Greater London – TerraCycle European Headquarters.

In conjunction with several of the largest and most prominent consumer products companies in the world, TerraCycle recently launched Loop, an international initiative advancing the future of packaging and consumption. This initiative is a groundbreaking step towards the end of single-use disposable materials and the beginning of a circular economy for the consumer goods industry. Our online shopping platform has launched in May 2019 in Paris area (maboutiqueloop.fr) and in NYC area (loopstore.com) and is looking at expanding in 2020 (Canada, UK & more…!) and partner with key retailers (Kroger, Tesco, Carrefour..).

We are hiring this entry/junior level Brand Account Manager to join a passionate and hardworking team. We are looking for someone who is a fervent believer in Loop’s mission, who is not afraid of challenges and fast-changing startup environment and who ideally has experience in or a strong understanding of the consumer product goods (CPG) industry, packaging development & innovation since each Brand Account Manager plays a critical role in guiding our brand partners’ transition from disposable packaging to durable, reusable packaging and gets exposure to many different companies & clients in the industry.

Some of our notable partners include P&G, Nestle, Unilever, PepsiCo, Carrefour, Tesco, but also smaller sustainable brands such as Clarity, Celestin, …

The position will require project management, communication, and organizational skills, along with an understanding of and interest in innovation and packaging development process in CPG companies. Responsibilities will include both client relations as well as general project management, and the successful applicant will be trained and highly successful in both capacities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in sustainability, brand management/relationship building, project management and packaging development innovation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day relationships with our brand partners and cross-functional team project management to support brands in the development of durable packaging solution and integrate within our systems
  • Manage assigned projects and maintain tracking information
  • Communicate and formally present project updates and requirements to key internal stakeholders and accounts
  • Support brand partner sales and marketing activities
  • Support the business with general project management
  • Plan and lead internal and external reviews and strategy sessions to ensure that work is meeting client requirements and expectations and that the Loop partnership is most effectively leveraged by the brand
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and timeliness of deliverables for assigned accounts

Requirement skills:

  • BA/BS required. Master’s a plus
  • 1-3 years of professional experience preferred
  • Background or Good understanding of Consumer Goods industry highly preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Hardworking, with outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Strong strategic and creative problem-solving skills, capable of thinking outside of the box
  • Agile mindset, flexible and easily adaptable to new challenges
  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic, rapidly evolving work environment
  • Comfortable working as a member of a team as well as pursuing projects independently
  • Thrives in high-pressure situations while working through a complex project
