More recently TerraCycle launched Loop, a global circular shopping system that enables brands, retailers and consumers to transition from single-use disposable materials to reusable, durable packaging.

Job Overview

The HR Manager is a new position that has been created to oversee Human Resources for our Budapest office, and would report to the Teracycle GM and to the Sr. Global Director HR. The successful candidate will be responsible for talent acquisition, learning and development and organizational development as we enter the next chapter of growth. This is an ideal role for a resourceful, determined, organized, and adaptable individual with incredible emotional intelligence!

Primary Responsibilities

 Primary recruiter for all open hires preparing and posting ads, screening candidates and

hiring all-stars across departments.

 Source, identify and interview high potential candidates

 Maintain pipeline of qualified candidates for future position openings

 Breathe company culture to ensure and assess candidate fit and compatibility

 Implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

 Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other


 Prepare and maintain employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and


 Assist in onboarding new employees

 Improve connectivity and cohesiveness across all department

 Support HR in company communications and managing through change

 Run surveys to gauge and improve employees’ life at work

 Maintain complete confidentiality of sensitive information


 A degree in a Human Resources or equivalent work experience is desired

 Utmost sensitivity to confidential information

 Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hungarian

 The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment with changing


 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), Google Apps etc.

 A problem solver capable of thinking outside the box

 Solid team player who can collaborate cross-functionally
